Introduction- A bit about the Cloth to Cloth concept. How I came to get involved in this process and how the concept fits into what I do, the relationship between weaving and sewing, excerpts from articles previously written by me on this subject.
Supplies-What you will need for the class, very basic really.
Basic Block Weaving- Demonstration of strip weaving in its simplest form. Covers preparation,weaving and securing a basic woven block. 2 video lessons.
Anchored Weaving- Compounded weaving in combination with woven or traditional patchwork bases. 4 video lessons.
Shaped Weaving -Creating shaped areas using the weaving technique. 3 video lessons.
Double Weaving- Creating dimension and design with layers. 1 video lesson.
Managing Edges -Preparing to embellish. 2 video lessons.
Putting things Together- the technical aspects of building a larger cloth using these techniques. 4 video lessons.
Quilting and Embellishing - just a little bit about using your woven base as a canvas. 2 video lessons.
