Nomad Moon

I heard somewhere that one Native American name for the October Moon was the migration Moon. Since I am in the process of relocation, I could feel it. After stitching this one it really seemed hold a sense of that.
Hand stitched story block. Hand pieced log cabin style on a thin foundation. Hand embroidered. Hand dyed and collected cloth form elsewhere. Cotton and silk.
